Seattle is framed by a modern skyline of gleaming skyscrapers and the snowy peak of Mount Rainer in the distance. Many flock to the Emerald City to soak up the city’s famously picturesque settings, lively Pike Place Market, stunning Chihuly Garden and Glass and slew of excellent museums. Seattle’s most famous landmark is the Space Needle, built in 1962 for a World Fair. Have dinner in the revolving restaurant at the top or perhaps take a turn on one of the USA’s tallest Ferris wheels.
