Bratislava

The largest city in Slovakia, Bratislava is located on the banks of the Danube river and enclosed by the picturesque 'Little Carpathian' mountain range to the north.  Its medieval heart features some beautiful city squares with narrow, winding streets with numerous historic churches and interesting buildings.  The vast Bratislava Castle which has overlooked the city for centuries is certainly worth a visit thanks to the numerous myths and legends regarding its history, but also the amazing views as far as Austria and Hungary.
