Catania

Located on the east coast of Sicily at the foot of Mount Etna, Catania is a pretty seaside city with a long and turbulent history. Destroyed by a catastrophic earthquake in 1693, Catania is now a thriving cultural and artistic city with beautiful architecture, stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife. The UNESCO World Heritage-listed old town includes the Duomo, the Piazza Stesicoro and Teatro Massimo.
